TL;DR Supreme’s James Jebbia is suing Leah McSweeney of Married to the Mob over her “Supreme Bitch” parody shirts for $10 million.
Supreme itself is itself a rip of artist Barbara Kruger, who commented on the lawsuit: “What a ridiculous clusterfuck of totally uncool jokers. I make my work about this kind of sadly foolish farce. I’m waiting for all of them to sue me for copyright infringement.” ANIMAL made these “Sue me” parody shirts, modelled them inside a NYC Supreme store and gave them away for free, but now they’re all gone. If you want to print your own, go here.
